A poem for Christmas.

Here's a poem I wrote in about five minutes as a thank you for a Christmas card. Not nearly my best work but eh, I like it well enough.

Snowberries 

Through the holiday when things get hairy and people lose their minds
Retreat to the mountains and there you shall find somewhere upon a mountainside
A snowberry tree.

It is this that everyone should see and take to heart. Through the cold and snow,
Christmas and chaos they bloom and ripen a bright and cheery red. Just as people
Deserve to be during the Christmas season.

They stand out with their bright exterior, seeming to glow amidst the cold.
It only takes one look at them for someone else's day to change ten fold. People
Should seem to glow at this very special holiday season the most, though the
Snowberries glow all year round so too should man glow all year as well.

So be it summer or winter, spring or fall if you're not feeling up to snuff
Just think of the snowberries. Their glow will give you a puff of happiness
And remind you of this special saying all year round. "Peace on earth and good
Will toward man" So that we shall not feel down.
